12/27/2007 · That was the style of hot & sour soup you found at the old Cantonese rice shops like Lin’s Garden & Hong Fat, and my favorite of the ’70s, Wo Hing. I never cared for that soup, but I wonder if Wo Hop or Hop Kee make it that way.

They were large, moon-shaped and were delicious with their sauce. I don’t know. Depending who you asked, it marginally improved the fried dumplings . I mean, the dumplings weren’t inedible, but they were fairly boring, flavorless, and oddly textured. I think they deep fried the darn things.
8/8/2020 · For the dumpling plebeians, it’s literally a tiny portion of pork with mixed vegetables (Scallions and water chestnuts mostly) stuffed in a dumpling shell. Imagine “pork with mixed vegetables” in a convenient, starchy package. Absolutely ridiculous and a must try. Good Mong Kok Bakery – Chui Chow Dumplings . Next, we have the shrimp dumplings .
